La dolce vita – ‘The good life, full of pleasure and indulgence’

I have compiled some fabulous, authentic Italian recipes taught to me, while studying at an Italian cookery school in London.  They cover everything from antipasti, pizza and breads, pasta, meat, fish, desserts and sweet treats, with dishes from different regions of Italy.  Some are easier than you might imagine and have been written in an easy to understand way, with some background information as you go.

I find Italian cookery such fun and flavour is at the forefront.  Italian dishes although rustic can still look great on a plate, but I favour flavour over fancy decorated plates.   There are no dark arts for getting delicious and flavoursome Italian food.  Even when it comes to pasta and bread (which I thought would be the hardest), there are simple steps.

What the course taught me is that not all Italian food tastes as it should, which has left me disappointed with some London restaurants, but I know that I can now replicate a piece of Italy at home!

Why not have an Italian themed dinner party and use these recipes as a guide.  Click this link to read through the recipes, along with a blog of my time in the kitchens.

The recipes have been generously given to me to publish by the restaurant/cookery school.
